A clothing website must make size, colour, fit and availability obvious on a phone, and it must never let a customer order a size you no longer have. Everything else on this list supports that.
1. A variation matrix, not a note in the description
Each style needs its real combinations: for example S, M, L, XL in three colours, with stock for each combination. Sold-out options should be marked clearly or hidden, so the customer cannot order them by mistake.
2. A size guide that matches your products
Show measurements (chest, waist, length) for the pieces you actually sell, in inches or centimetres, and explain how to measure. A generic chart copied from another store causes wrong-size orders and returns.
3. Fabric, fit and care details
State the fabric, whether the cut is slim or relaxed, and how to wash it. Say what the model is wearing and the model’s height, if you show models.
4. Separate collections for how customers shop
- Women’s dresses: by occasion (casual, party, festive) and season.
- Saree and lehenga: fabric, work or embroidery, length, blouse or stitching options and dupatta details. If stitching is made to order, explain the process and collect measurements before checkout.
- Men’s t-shirts and jeans: t-shirts by size and colour; jeans by waist and length with fit names.
- Seasonal: Eid, winter, sale and new-arrival pages you can link from Facebook posts.
5. Clear exchange and delivery rules near the buying button
Put your size-exchange rule beside the size selector and again at checkout. Decide the policy first; the website only displays what you actually follow.
6. Photos that show the real product
Front, back, detail and a colour-true shot help customers decide without messaging you. See our photography checklist for a simple setup.
7. A checkout that fits how Bangladeshi customers pay
Offer Cash on Delivery and, where your accounts support it, bKash or Nagad. Ask only for what you need: name, phone, address, delivery area.
8. Fast on mobile
Most customers arrive from Facebook on a phone. Keep pages light, images sized properly and the size selector easy to tap.
9. Something your staff can maintain
Adding a new style, updating variant stock and running an exchange should not mean editing the whole product page. Keep one clean record per style.
